  Admission Characteristics：

　The doctoral class in College of Electrical and Computer Engineering was established according to "Project of Supporting Universities To Cultivate Ph.D. Level Research and Development Talents Through Industry-Academic Cooperation" and "Pilot Project based On Collages Serving as Core Teaching Units" of Ministry of Education in August 2017. The purpose is to establish a model of cooperation between domestic industry and academia, to cultivate doctoral talents possessing the industrial perspectives and the highest level research capabilities, and to create the innovative technology directing to the industrial requirements.
 

  1. Channels
    The admission channels include "Entrance Examination," "Direct Pursuit of Ph.D. Degree in This University" and "Doctoral Student Transfer." The Ph.D. student with the admission to the class needs to apply for "Project Of Supporting Universities To Cultivate Ph.D. Level Research And Development Talents Through Industry-Academic Cooperation" of Ministry of Education with the application data passing the examination of the enterprise, College of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Ministry of Education, and completes the matching with the enterprise.
  2. Development Direction
    The development direction is to integrate the powerful fields of the existing departments of College of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and also to consider the extremely needed new technology in the upgrading of the domestic industry and the new venture to achieve the win-win condition between the domestic industry and the academia.
  3. Curriculum Planning
    The curriculum planning in this college always pays attention to achieve the knowledge-action integration, and most students graduated from this college are successfully employed in domestic and foreign high-tech industries. In addition, the curriculum planning focuses on not only the current technical manpower requirements of the industries, but also talents for future industries, and further leads in the development trend of the future industrial technology to cultivate advanced research talents required in the national industry.
